Fresh Start Counseling Center, Inc.
Was incorporated in February 2003, initially providing mental health services to adults and children. Later, Fresh Start was licensed as a child placing agency by the State of Wisconsin providing services to Bureau of Milwaukee Child Welfare and WrapAround Milwaukee Children and Families. Today we sponsor three group homes in Milwaukee, WI, providing care and supervision to girls 13-18 years of age and a full-service therapeutic foster care agency.

Our Mission
Fresh Start Counseling Center is committed to providing safe, nurturing, caring temporary homes for children in out of home care until they can reach permanency. Our agency will work with older children in care to assist them in developing the necessary skills to transition into adulthood and lead a life of stability. A strong commitment to the children, families and purchasers we serve will be a constant given.

Our Vision
We envision every Wisconsin child having a nurturing, stable family unit, which promotes the child’s physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual growth and development.
