Independent Living Skills With Training
Our Independent Living Services Program was developed in response to the need to prepare youth in treatment foster care for eventual emancipation and independence.

Topics focus on specific areas of personal, interpersonal and social competence and employ social learning training procedures to help youth achieve mastery of critical skills. Topics are selected for their developmental significance and clear empirical support linking specific skills with positive outcomes for youth.

Developed originally for youth in our treatment foster care programs, independent living services sessions are offered regularly on a purchase-of service basis to schools and agencies serving youngsters in our local communities.
